Interpret the number correctly
The result is a delivered-flow target. Select a pump whose curve still reaches that flow at total installed head—not a pump with the same zero-head headline number.
The lip controls the look
A level, clean-edged weir produces a more even sheet than an irregular lip at the same flow.
Balance waterfall and filtration
